About Me

Image (3).jpeg

I embarked on my yoga teaching journey in 2012. I began teaching Baby Toddler Yoga to strengthen the parent-child bond. That passion lead me to teach Kids Yoga where I integrated yoga with science. It was when I started teaching adults yoga in 2016 that yoga took ahold of my life.

I received my Mommy Me Yoga training in 2015 from YoMama with Katie Wise, my 200 hr yoga certification in 2018 from Many Rivers Yoga, and my Kids Yoga and Prenatal Yoga training in 2019 with Lauren Prindiville of Island Ayurveda & Yoga. I have a masters in Curriculum and Instruction, major in Biology, minor in Environmental Studies, and certifications in K-6th, Biology, and Earth & Space Sciences. My educational background and love of the environment inspires my theme-based yoga classes.

I've taught in-person and online yoga at Full Distance Physical Therapy & Wellness, Burnalong, churches, FSU's OLLI, Governors Charter Academy, Namaste Yoga, Tallahassee Parks & Recreation, FSU's Enclaves at College Town, FAMU's STEM camps, Camp Kum-Ba-Yah, and Mommy Me Yoga of Lynchburg.

My adult yoga develops an awareness of your inner yoga voice to build confidence, stay safe in poses, and discover creative ways to use props. My Kids and Family Yoga strengthens the family bond while incorporating  science themes and American Sign Language. My Prenatal and Baby Toddler Me Yoga helps moms to connect with little ones while safely strengthening their prenatal and postpartum bodies.

Connections Yoga is rooted in the deep belief that yoga is not only about connecting to your body, breath, and mind but also connecting to those around you.
